The Fay Gold Gallery opened in Atlanta in 1980 with an exhibition of sculpture by George Segal followed by Irving Penn, Robert Rauschenberg, Alex Katz, Cindy Sherman and Jean-Michel Basquiat. The gallery currently represents the A-List of emerging Southeastern painters, sculptors and video artists, major nationally known artists as well as the estates of Robert Mapplethorpe and Louise Nevelson.

In the 25 years Fay Gold Gallery has been in business in Atlanta, major galleries have come and gone. The gallery's staying power, cultural heroism and true pioneering spirit are legendary in the South. It is the only Southern gallery that has exhibited its artists in art fairs in Basel, FIAC, ARCO, AIPAD, London, Art Chicago, San Francisco, Miami, Palm Beach and Scope.

The Fay Gold Gallery is a fierce advocate of art being created in Atlanta and the Southeast. It focuses on guiding and educating Atlantans while facing open resistance to change. Fay has become one of the most respected art experts in the country. She has won many prestigious awards for her pioneering vision which has raised art awareness in the South.

Fay Gold Gallery has helped build the collections of such corporations as Coca-Cola  and Scientific Atlanta and has raised $700,000 chairing two art auctions in Atlanta with Elton John for his AIDS Foundation. We have two exhibitions a month in our new 8,000 square foot space and have developed a strong internet presence.

Since 1980 the Fay Gold Gallery has focused on developing private and corporate contemporary art collections in the Southeast. The gallery exhibits cutting-edge painting, sculpture, photography and three-dimensional objects. It has fostered successful careers for a multitude of artists by exhibiting their work in four major art fairs a year and arranging shows for them in galleries and museums worldwide.

The Fay Gold Gallery also represents the estates of Robert Mapplethorpe, Ruth Orkin, O. Winston Link and Imogen Cunningham as well as current, nationally known artists from coast to coast.
